Organic Farming

Procedure
Before any farming activity is initiated, the land is kept under strict supervision for the first 3 years. The farmers are provided with seeds, compost, organic manure and pest control sprays/ equipments. The entire farming procedure follows strict adherence to Vasudha Practices, and any deviation resulting thereof leads to the debarring of the guilty farmer. Farmers are provided 15% premium on organic cotton produce over regular cotton along with other supports. Practices like direct crop purchase, crop rotation and inter cropping form the integral part of the organic farming process.
